Jamb Announces new date for 2020/2021 Post-Utme Screening

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board has announce new date for 2020/2021 Post UTME screening. The Post Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination screening for 2020/2021 for tertiary institutions in Nigeria admission will now commence on 7th of September 2020. This was disclose at a meeting between the Joint Admission and Matriculation Examination and Vice chancellor’s, Rectors and Provost of tertiary institutions on Monday. Jamb announces new date for 2020/2021 Post Utme screening.   Pr of Is-haq Oloyede, the jamb registrar said the screening would now hold between September 7 and November 18 . The board has issued a guideline for all tertiary institutions to begin their admission with effect from August 20 before. Prof Is-haq Oloyede said the adjustment in the date would allow students taking 2020 O’level examination to be able to participate in the screening exercise.  He said, “ presently as you were aware, WAEC commence the Senior School Certificate Examination on August 17

WASSCE: Osun pleaded with Former N-power Teachers To Resume

Osun state government pleaded with the former N-Power teachers handling Senior Secondary School three (SS3) classes before they were exited from the scheme, to return to schools for revision classes.  This was contained in a public service announcement signed by Senior special assistant to the governor on special intervention programmes, Lukman Bello, on Monday.  The state commissioner for Education, Mr. Folorunsho  Bamisayemi in the announcement, urged the volunteers to sacrifice for the future of the students that are preparing for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination.  The announcement read in part, “Sequel to an appeal to all N-power teachers who are directly teaching SS3 classes in Osun public high schools by the commissioner of  Education, Hon. OAU FINAL YEAR STUDENT DIED IN A FATAL ROAD ACCIDENT at Mayfair, ile-ife

The entire student of the Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU ile -ife has been thrown into mourning over a road accident that happened to one of their colleagues on Monday at mayfair, ile -ife , osun state . According to reports, the student identified as Ebenezer chinwendu Linda popularly known as Wendy was a 400level student of management and accounting was hit by trailer at the busy mayfair bus stop, according to reports the accident happened as  a result of brake failure on the trailer. Wendy was also confirmed to be in her final phase in the race to become a chartered accountant. UNILAG MICROBIOLOGY STUDENT COMMITTED SUICIDE OVER CARRY- OVER'S

A student of Microbiology department of university of Lagos, identified as Niyi allegedly committed suicide as a result of the carryovers he had in some courses. The dejected student killed himself after checking his result. His friends and colleagues have taken to social media to mourn him, in the course, it was reviewed that, this was not the first time a student from the department of Microbiology in UNILAG is committing suicide in a space of 3 years. Mourning him, a twitter user also wrote; "Try as much as possible to talk to your friends always, everybody seems to act okay but they really are not. Dejectionion is real, they just need some one to spill their mind to. This Microbiology Unilag student just committed suicide. 2019/2020 JAMB REGISTRATION WILL SOON COMMENCE - prof. Ishiaq oloyede

The Registrar of JAMB, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, had confirmed that Registrations for the 2019 JAMB UTME will commence by the end of October, during a meeting with Journalists in Abeokuta. The statement directly meant that 2019 JAMB Forms should be on sale on or before 31st October, 2018. The entire Nigeria institution gist Staff and Students are closely monitoring the situation, as we will be using this post to monitor the moment access is grated for 2019 Registration from the JAMB Portal, mainly from www.jamb.org.ng We will update this particular post, with registration details, as they become available.
