A student of Microbiology department of university of Lagos, identified as Niyi allegedly committed suicide as a result of the carryovers he had in some courses. The dejected student killed himself after checking his result. His friends and colleagues have taken to social media to mourn him, in the course, it was reviewed that, this was not the first time a student from the department of Microbiology in UNILAG is committing suicide in a space of 3 years. Mourning him, a twitter user also wrote; "Try as much as possible to talk to your friends always, everybody seems to act okay but they really are not. The Registrar of JAMB, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, had confirmed that Registrations for the 2019 JAMB UTME will commence by the end of October, during a meeting with Journalists in Abeokuta. Ipoola Alani Akinrinade The former Chief of staff, Lt. General Ipoola Alani Akinrinade, Sunday, slammed those criticizing President Muhammadu Buhari over his statement that his West African School Certificate Examination certificate, WAEC, was with the Nigerian Army. In a statement disclosed by Mr President’s special adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, the former Chief of Defence Staff insisted that Buhari has a certificate Angered at the spate at which Nigerians lambast Buhari over his certificate, Akinrinade blamed the Nigeria’s recording system. His words, “How many years ago ?… 50 years. And Nigeria with our (poor) record keeping and filing things into an archive. If we have an archive at all; an archive inhabited by rats and cockroaches. I think it’s an insult”.
